Abstract
PURPOSE:In the idle rotation control to prevent the hunting even when the misfiring has occurred, by correcting the comparison signal between the rotation speed signal and the target idle rotation setting with the misfiring detection signal thus controlling the suction air amount. CONSTITUTION:When a throttle valve switch 19 is at the idle position, the micro-computor 13 will operate the actual rotation N from the rotation sensor signal in accordance to the program of ROM15, and feed into a register together with the target idle rotation NSET. Then the times T1, T2 where the projections 26a, 26b on a rotary disc facing with the crank shaft will pass through the detection angle theta of the proximity switches 27, 28 are detected and compared with the predetermined time difference alpha then it is decided to be normal if T1-T2>alpha thus to operate N-NSET while if T1-T2<alpha it is decided that there is no acceleration due to the misfiring to cancell the actual rotation N of the register to operate N-NSET while utilizing the prior rotation. Said signal is used to drive the pulse motor 12 thus to control the suction air.
