PURPOSE:To realize the exposure in both the going and coming-back motions of an original table to a photosensitive drum and at the smae time to realize the magnification/reduction function of copy, by using plural optical systems. CONSTITUTION:For the 1st optical system within a device stand 1 under an original table 2 which can have a reciprocal motion, the light given from a light source 5 in a reflector transmits through the glass of the table 2 and is irradiated to an original. Then the reflected light forms an image through a rod lens 6 at an exposure point E of a photosensitive drum 7 containing a photoconductive insulated material on the surface, and then the exposure is performed. With the 2nd optical system, the light given from a light source 8 covered with a reflector reaches through the glass of the table 2 the original at the scanning distance of the originals 3 and 4 from the position C. This reflected light forms an image at the exposure point F of the drum 7 via the mirrors 9-12.
