Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable impact vibration of a large structure by bringing a piston reacting to the feeding or exhausting of a pressure fluid in contact with an impact transmission member adapted to freely slide through a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:While valves 12, 13 and 16 are opened with valves 14 and 17 closed, upon release of a piston 3 retained with a stopper 8, the piston 3 advances through a cylinder 4 by a resilience of a spring 6 and a pressure of a compressed air via the valve 16. When the exhaust path 10 is opened with the piston 3, with exhaust of the compressed air, the piston 3 stops at a specified position. The inertial force of the piston 3 upto the stoppage thereof is transmitted to a test object 1 as an impact force through an impact force transmission number 5 adapted to slide freely along the cylinder 4 contacting the piston 3. The piston 3 is returned to the original position by a compressed air pressure through a piping 19 enabling impact vibration of a large structure such as ship accurately.
