Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare the titled composition useful as a film having excellent blocking resistance, without lowering the see-through clarity, by compounding granular polypropylene with lamellar inorganic fine powder and silicon dioxide. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of granular polypropylene which has an average particle diameter of <=1,000mu, esp. 300-1,000mu and an apparent specific gravity of >= 0.5g/ml, and does not contain >=1wt% of particles having diameter of <=100mu nor particles having diameter of >=1,200mu, is compounded with 0.1-1.0pt.wt. of inorganic fine powder having lamellar structure and an average particle diameter of 0.5-15mu (e.g. talc) and 0.01-0.5pt.wt. of silicon dioxide having an average particle diameter of 0.5-15mu. The weight ratio of the inorganic fine powder to the silicon dioxide is 1-50.
