Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a nozzle for gas turbines which prevents concentration of deposits and reduces cracks by dispersing non-metallic particles in a molten alloy deposited with metallic elements on a substrate consisting of Fe, Ni and Co.
CONSTITUTION: One or more of Fe, Ni and Co are used as essential components and metallic elements that form deposits at a high temp., for example, 0.05W 1wt% C, 20W40% Cr, 0.0005W0.1% B and 5W15%≥1 kind of W and Mo are contained therein. The base thereof is converted mainly to austenite structure. Non-metallic particles such as oxide particles of about ≤10μm diameters are dispersed about 0.01W5vol% in this molten alloy. The non-metallic particles act as nuclei for the deposits to be deposited at a high temp., have the effect of dispersing the deposits around the non-metallic particles and prevent the concentrated deposition at the grain boundaries. Therefore, the deposits are dispersed uniformly, and the cracks owing to thermal shock and thermal fatigue are prevented.
