PURPOSE:To make it possible to make display of a required color in one transfer operation by combining a paper with a single color coloring layer on which transfer is made and a transfer sheet that has two-color capsules for transfer. CONSTITUTION:A transfer layer 150 is formed on the main face of the base paper 15a of a transfer sheet 15. The layer 15 combines thermally melting two- color capsules for transfer, for example, of red 15b and blue 15c capsules with a binder 15d. Paper 20 on which transfer is made forms a single-color coloring layer 20c of, for example, yellow color that is not thermally melting, and this coloring layer 20c is covered with a white opaque layer 20b such as wax that makes transparent or vaporizes at a low temperature of nearly 250 deg.C. The melting points of red capasules 15b and blue capsules 15c are higher than the melting point of the opaque layer 20b and they are different. With this arrangement, transfer of yellow, red, blue and white and their combinations can be made.
