Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the high-speed hard copying of color information by providing a head row consisting of large numbers of dot heads linearly aligned on a head supporter by as much as a plural row according to the numbers of printing colors. CONSTITUTION:Four rows of dot heads 2y...2y, 2m...2m, 2c...2c and 2b...2b are provided on a head supporter 1, and 4 ink ribbons 9y, 9m, 9c and 9b are correspondingly provided, each having yellow color, Magenta color, cyanine color, and black color. These ribbons are each housed in ribbon cassettes 12y, 12m, 12c and 12b and used circularly. By these ink robbons having hour colors, 4 colors of printings are separately obtained in the same printer.
