PURPOSE:To prevent sealed fluid from being introduced well by a method wherein an oil surface angle of a high-pressure side in a dust lip when the seal is inserted to a shaft is made 90 deg. or more. CONSTITUTION:A main lip 2 and an auxiliary lip 3 are provided on a reinforcing ring 1 so as to be directed to the opposing directions. Sealed fluid is contacting with the oil surface angle side 4 of the main lip 2. A main sliding surface 5 and an auxiliary sliding surface 6 are provided on the circumference of the main lip 2 while the main sliding surface 7 and the auxiliary sliding surface 8 are provided on the same of the auxiliary lip 3. The oil surface angle beta of a sealing corner side 14 is made 90 deg. or more. As a result, the oil film of the main sliding surface 7 may be made zero. This is due to the reason wherein the flexibility and the self shrinking property of the main sliding surface 7 in the auxiliary lip 3 is increased and the contact pressure of the sliding surface in the main sliding surface 7 is increased as it approaches the main lip side.
