Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent thermal deformation of the duct structures of a machine tool by ventilating the inside of the machine with a gas which is controlled into a certain specified temperature. CONSTITUTION:Air whose temperature is controlled by an airconditioner 18 into a certain specified value is fed to all cells of a bridge 2 from an intake duct 15 through a pipe 19. The inside of this bridge 2 is divided into several cells with partition walls, where each cell is provided with an intake hole leading to the duct 15 and an outlet hole leading to the outlet duct 16. The air from the cells is sent through the outlet hole to be exhausted for the outlet duct 16 and is returned to the airconditioner 18 through a pipe 20. The front surface of the bridge 2 on the other hand, for ex. sliding face 3a, is fed with a circulating lubricant oil having a temperature regulated to the same as that of the air in the bridge 2.
