Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of the titled amplifier without giving any evil effect to the output waveform, by providing a delaying circuit between an input signal source and an amplifier and at the same time controlling the power supply voltage of the amplifier in relation to the change of the input signal.
CONSTITUTION: The signal given from a signal source 18 is delayed by a certain period of time through a delaying circuit 19 and then supplied to an amplifier 17. This signal is also applied to a waveheight detector 20 to detect the waveheight value. A pulse generator 16 is controlled by the output of the detector 20. The DC voltage given from a power supply 11 is converted into the AC voltage through a DC-AC converting part 12 which is controlled by the generator 16 to be applied to an output rectifying/smoothing part 14 and a voltage rectifying/ smoothing part 15 via an inverter transformer 13. A switching elements 21 and 22 are controlled by the detector 20. When the input voltage exceeds a certain level, the output of the part 14 which is supplied to the amplifier 17 is switched to the output of part 15.
