Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the sucking force of a device which conveys recording paper by adsorbing it on circulating endless belts, by specializing the relative positions of the adsorption holes on the belts and the sucking slits on a sucking duct. CONSTITUTION:Belts 1 are wound around driving and following belt rollers 2, 3 and a tension shaft 4, and a sucking box 8 is arranged inside. The section of each belt 1 crossing its moving direction at right angles is formed into an uneven shape, and many adsorbtion holes 9 are made in its concave portions 1a. On the other hand, on the sucking surface 8a of the sucking box 8, the first sucking slits 10 are drilled on each position to which each belt 1 comes close, and the second sucking slits 11 are drilled on each position between the belts 1 neighboring each other. Thereby, the adsorption holes 9 can always face the first sucking slits 10, and then recording paper sucking force by the sucking slits 10 is kept always constant, and the recording paper is made to stick to the convex portions 1b of each belt 1 by the sucking force of the auxiliary second sucking slits 11.
