Abstract
PURPOSE:To approach the phase difference among the synthetic vectors of magnetomotive forces in three phases of single layer winding 3-phase coils by replacing parts of the coils of 2 phases having equal winding array with one another in the 3-phase windings. CONSTITUTION:In single-layer winding 3-phase armature coils represented by q=A+B/C with a positive integer C becoming the magnification of the number of the phases in such a manner that the number q of slots per one pole and one phase is mutually prime from positive integers A, B and B, parts of the coils sides contained in adjacent slots of at least one set of 2 phases (U-phase and V-phase) having equal winding array are replaced with one another. For example, in case of 3-phase 6-pole 24 slots, the conductors of the coil sides of U9-13 are partly replaced with that of V8-12, and coil sides of U9-12 and V8-13 are newly obtained. In this manner, current unbalance, loss, vibration and noise can be reduced.
