Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect an object lens in an optical path with detectors the number of which is smaller than the number of used object lenses, by combining presence or absence of detections of reflection lights of plural photoreflectors provided around a revolver. CONSTITUTION:Total reflection mirrors 10 and 11 are provided around a revolver having object lenses 7, 7', 7'', and 7''', and photoreflectors 12 and 13 having light emitting elements 12a and 13a and photodetectors 12b and 13b are provided in fixed position facing to these mirrors 10 and 11. When the revolver is rotated, mirrors are moved but photoreflectors are not moved, and therefore, light detection states of photodetectors 12b and 13b are combined as follows; object lenses 7, 7', 7'', and 7''' are discriminated for presence, presence, adsence, and absence of the input of the photodetector 12b and presence, absence, absence, and presence of the input of the photodetector 13b respectively. Consequently, the object lens which is placed in the optical path is discriminated with sensors the number (2) of which is smaller than the number (4) of object lenses.
