Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the propagation characteristics of oscillation from a piezoelectric drive part to be adjusted optionally by providing the piezoelectric drive part and a plane acoustic emitter plate extended at the circumferential edge of the drive part, and then providing a mass adding menans on the main surface of the emitter plate. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric thin film 1 is nearly discoid, silver electrodes 2 and 3 are baked on both main surfaces of the drive part, and their circumferential edges are held by an annular frame member 4, thus constituting the drive part 5. An acoustic emitter (AE) plate 6 made of foamed resin is formed in a flat plate shape having a circular recess part 7 in the center.
