Abstract

PURPOSE:To make quick movement of a spindle and highly accurate measurement and display possible by separating a driving mechanism and movement extent display mechanism of the spindle. The pitch of the spiral is large and therefore if the thimble is rotated by holding a handle 12, the spindle moves quickly and the moving extent thereof is transmitted precisely to the gate 6 by the pinion.
