Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize compact structure and the reduction of cost by decreasing the number of elements greatly by leading an output current out of the collector of a multiemitter transistor (TR) which has an N-number of emitters where an N-number of current sources having weighted values are connected. CONSTITUTION:Current sources I1-I4 has current values which correspond to the weights of bits inputted to terminals Vin1-Vin4. For example, a voltage applied to the Vin2 is higher than a reference voltage applied to a terminal Vref, a current from the current source I2 flows to a TRQ2 and never appears at the collector of a TRQ5. When it is lower than the reference voltage to the contrary, a current from the current source I1 appears at the collector of the TRQ5. Similarly, currents from the current sources I1-I4 appear at the collector of the multiemitter TRQ5 through its emitters corresponding to voltages applied to the terminals Vin1-Vin4.
