Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the continuous production of a laminated metal of high joining strength and quality possible by positioning the ejection ports of plural nozzles through which dissimilar metals are ejected separately onto a cooling roll so as to form a substantially continuous surface and spacing the same equally from the roll surface in parallel therewith. CONSTITUTION:A titled device consisting of plural tubular vessels 1a, 1b heating and melting plural raw materials metals A, B separately, nozzles 2a, 2b ejecting molten metals by means of an inert gas and a roll 3 disposed by facing the nozzles 2a, 2b and cooling the molten metals ejected through the nozzles 2a, 2b quickly at a high speed or rolling and cooling the same quickly. The ejection ports of said nozzles 2a, 2b are positioned to form a substantially continuous surface and said continuous surface is equally spaced from the surface of the roll 3 in parallel therewith. By the above-mentioned device, a multilayered thin metallic body 4 of high joining strength and quality is produced continuously.
