Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the weight of a rotor for an extra-centrifugal separator as well as raise its centrifugal force by using a system in which a resin-impregnated, high-tensile fiber is oriented in the centrifugal direction of a rotor, laid across buckets facing each other with the interposition of a shaft at the center and the shaft, and then hardened to form a rotor body.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor shaft 1 and a core metal for bucket B are fixed to a tool. Then, a resin-impregnated, high-tensile fiber is fixed to the upper part a of the rotor shaft and wound around buckets B1→B4→B1 in the direction shown by arrows in a serveral repeating manner. Then, the fiber is wound around B4→ shaft 1, its winding direction is changed toward B2 in the direction shown by arrow e, and the fiber is repeatedly wound around the buckets B2 and B5 in the order of arrows f→g. Then, the fiber is wound around B3 and B6 in the same manner, and then the fiber is heated for hardening. Thus, a light-weight centrifugal separator capable of giving a higher centrifugal force than the maximum one of the aluminum alloy centrifugal separators, etc., can be obtained.
