Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a highly active long life catalyst by supporting a hydrogenating metal component to a catalyst substrate consisting of iron oxide or iron sulfide and titanium oxide or titanium sulfide.
CONSTITUTION: As the hydrocracking catalyst composition of a heavy oil, to a catalyst substrate consisting of 10W90wt% titanium oxide or titanium sulfide as TiO2 and 90W10wt% iron oxide or iron sulfide as Fe2O3, a hydrogenating metal component selected from oxide or sulfide of VIb group metal, oxide or sulfide of VIII group metal is supported as oxide in an amount of 4W40wt% on the wt basis of a catalyst. The obtained catalyst forms available active point as well as effects action of said catalytic metal and has high activity and long life.
