Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform driving at the minimum fuel consumption rate, by comparing the revolution speed of the engine with the depression of the accelerator pedal and by giving warning to the driver when the depression is larger than the revolution speed. CONSTITUTION:An engine revolution speed signal applied to a terminal 1 is changed into a voltage through converters 1a, 2. The voltage is applied to a comparator 4, into which a voltage corresponding to the depression of the accelerator pedal and applied to a terminal 3 is entered. When the former voltage is higher than the latter, the comparator 4 sends out a signal to turn on a green light 5 through a diode 4a and an amplifier 5a. At that time, a red light 6 is kept by an inverter 6a from being turned on. When the comparator 4 does not send out the signal, the red light 6 is turned on to warn the driver that he is not driving at the minimum fuel consumption rate. When emergency braking is effected, the red light 5 is surely turned on by brake signals from terminals 7a, 7b to prevent the driver from performing wrong operation.
