Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption in case of stopping an oscillating operation, by adding a control transistor which turns on and off together with an oscillating transistor, to a flash emitting device provided with an automatic operation stopping means. CONSTITUTION:A control TR2 which turns on and off together with an oscillating transistor TR1 is provided. When a synchro-switch 6 is closed, a capacitor 9 and a capacitor 14 of a timing circuit are chrged, a TR16 is turned off, simultaneously a base current flows to the TRs 1, 2, and an oscillating operation is started. Also, in case when this device is not used for a long period of time, an output is provided from the timing circuit, the TR16 is turned on, and a TR8 is turned off. Accordingly, the capacitor 9 is charged, the TR2 cannot become on, and the oscillating operation is stopped automatically. In this way, when the oscillating operation is being stopped, there is no circuit which must be operated by an electric power supply 18, therefore, the power consumption is reduced.
