Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformly coat the interior of the bearing case with grease by a method wherein the grease is sprinkled off in pulverized form from a plurality of number of minute holes provided radially to the rotation of a rotor by being applied with centrifugal force produced by the high speed rotation of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:The whole coating apparatus is lowered to the bearing case 10 set at the predetermined position so as to insert the part of the grease discharge case 24 fitted at the tip of the rotor 15 into the bearing case 10. The rotor 15 is rotated through a belt 31 at high speed. The grease is led through a high pressure rubber hose 23 and an elbow 22 into a swivel joint 21. After that, the grease reaches through a grease passage 20 axially bored within the rotor 15 to the lower part of the rotor 15 and, through a grease reservoir 26, is sprinkled off around in pulverized form from the minute holes 28 provided on the grease discharge case 24 by means of centrifugal force produced by the high speed rotation of the rotor 15 and is adhered uniformly over the inner wall surface of the bearing case.
