CONSTITUTION:When a control switch 23 is closed in a reproduction state, a counter circuit 20 starts counting operation. A digital signal or the output signal of the circuit 20 is converted by a D-A converter 25 into an analog signal, which is applied to the control terminal 6 of an electronic volume control 3. Then, the amount of attenuation by the volume control 3 increases gradually and the level of an output reproduced signal decreases gradually. When the count value of the circuit 20 reaches a value set by a setting circuit 29, an H-level signal or a switching signal is outputted from a control circuit 26. Once the H-level signal is outputted from the circuit 26, an input signal to an AND circuit 19 goes down to a level L, so a pulse signal inputted to the counter circuit 20 is ceased.
