PURPOSE:To obtain always a vivid image, by using a high chargeable toner as toners for copy start and initial supply and using a low charageable toner as a toner for supply hereafter in the developing method using a two-component developer containing a fluoropolymer coated carrier. CONSTITUTION:In a tw-component type developing method where a fluoro-polymer is coated on the surface of a carrier to prevent toner fine particles from sticking to the surface of the carrier, a high chargeable toner such as a toner consisting of 90wt.pts. styrene resin, 8wt.pts. carbon black, and 2wt.pts. nigrosine SB is used in the initial copy from the copy start to about 3,000 copies, and a low chargeable toner consisting of 85wt.pts. styrene resin and 15wt.pts. carbon black is supplied hereafter. Thus, a desired charge quantity is always kept, and vivid images are obtained even if copying is performed for a long time continously or intermittently.
