Abstract

PURPOSE:To mount a detector with high density, by combining a photodetector which has accumulated an amorphous semiconductor layer on a collimator, and a scintillator, and effectively utilizing a light beam emitted from the scintillator. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector 12a is formed by using a collimator 11 as a negative electrode, accumulating an n type amorphous Si layer 121 and an i type amorphous Si layer 122 on the collimator 11, and sticking a positive electrode 124 through an extremely thin insulating film 123. Also, scintillators 131-133 are placed in gaps of plural collimators 111-113 on which photodetectors 12a1- 12a3 and 12b1-12b3 have been formed in one body. In this way, light beams emitted from the scintillators 131-133 of each channel against incidence of a radiant ray R are detected by the photodetectors 12a1-12a3 and 12b1-12b3 of both its sides, and are fetched to the outside.
