In this case, the 3rd rotary magnetic head A' with the same azimuth angle as the head B is arranged near the head A and the 4th rotary magnetic head B' with the same azimuth angle as the head A is arranged near the head B. At the time of slow motion reproduction, the magnetic tape is driven intermittently in every 1 pitch of recording trace and the heads A, B, A', and B' are used selectively, performing fine slow motion reproduction.
