Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the phase shift of a signal accompanying the switching of transmitting stations, by switching transmitted signals during said switching on the basis of a timing discrimination code added to the, transmitted signal transmitted to a ground communication path, at every specific information interval. CONSTITUTION:A timing discrimination code generating circuit TMG generates a three-bit count-circulating code for a signal sequence of input transmitted signals at the timing of each block converted into one burst by a burst converting circuit CVT1. Then, a multiplexing circuit MPX adds the three-bit code to the head of each block of the input transmitted signal. Timing discriminating circuits TDT1 and TDT2 detect the three-bit timing discrimination code in the arrival transmitted signal sequence, and detect its value. For the switching of site diversity, the value of the timing discrimination code is specified and control is so exercised that an global station A starts transmission at a signal following the transmitted signal whose transmission is interrupted by an global station B.
