Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of impregnated resin in a dry-type transforme to achieve elaborate impregnation by a methode wherein an outer side surface and an axial-direction end surface of high-voltage and low-voltate windings are covered with an insulation substance through which impregnated resin cannot be penetrated and synthetic resin is impregnated into inner and outer insulators enveloping windings. CONSTITUTION:An inner insulating 13 and an outer insulating 14 consisting of glass cloth, mica sheets, polymid, etc. are applied on both a low-voltage winding 11 and a high-viltage winding 12 separated with a duct piece. Next, before impregnation of synthetic resin into these insulatings, an insulator 15 such as a thin laminated plate or plastic film through which synthetic resin does not pentrate is applied onto an outer side surface and end surfaces in the longitudinal direction of windings. After this, synthetic resin is inpregnated into windings 11 and 12 under vacuum, and then it is mounted on a rotary jig 17 in a heating furnace 16 and heated with the jig 17 rotated by a driving unit 18 to gelatinize resin. Afterwards, windings are taken out of the jig 17 and into a thermostatic oven to harden it fully.
