Abstract
PURPOSE:To make inexpensive production possible without requiring any specially designed parts by connecting light emitting elements respectively in parallel to lamps at both ends which are connected in series, and providing a detecting circuit which detects the elements which do not emit light. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting elements 6A, 6B such as LEDs are connected via diode bridges 5A, 5B for detecting terminal voltage in parallel to both end lamps 1a, 1n of a lamp device including lamps 1a, 1b-1n which are connected in series. A detecting circuit including phototransistors 9A, 9B which detect the light of these LEDs, resistors 10A, 10B, an OR gate 11 and a lamp disonnection alarming circuit 12 is provided in order to detect either or both of these LEDs 6A, 6B which do not emit light. Thereby, the disconnection is displayed surely with the disconnection alarming circuit despite the disconnection of any of the lamps which are connected in series.
