Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of connection terminals by transmitting both power on-signal and charging completion signals from a flashing apparatus to a camera with a common terminal. CONSTITUTION:When the powr switch S1 of a flashing apparatus FL is turned on, a transistor (TR)Q1-2 is turned on, TRs Q12 and Q13 are turned off and then TRQ14 is turned on. Thus, constant voltage is applied to the input terminal (+) of a comparator A2-1 and flashing time is set up. Since TRQ10 is off and TRQ11 is on before the completion of flashing, a light emitting diode (LED)D12 does not emit light. When a neon tube L1 lights up at the completion of charging, TRQ10 is turned on, TRQ11 is turned off and LEDD12 emis light to display the completion of charging. When the power switch S1 is turned off, TRQ1-2 is turned off, so that LEDD12 extiguishes independently of on/off of the neon tube L1.
