PURPOSE:To hold securely a superconductive coil by inserting wedges between a bobbin and the superconductive coil. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive coil 3 is pressed in the lateral direction within a bobbin 16 with the help of a coil holder 18. So, when errors arise in the superconductive coil 3 in coil winding or in formation of compounds, a gap is created in the longitudinal direction. A wedge 19 is pushed in between the bobbin 16 and an insulator 17 within the bobbin to press the coil 3. Therefore, even if there is a dimension error, a gap between the bobbin 16 and the coil 3 does not appear, and the coil 3 is securely held. A similar effect can be expected with insertion of the wedge 19 between insulator 17 and coil 3.
