Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the hand of the time piece into which the insertion and fixing of a rotary shaft is facilitated and ensured, by forming a convex part which yields an elastic bonding force in a cylindrical part in which the rotary shaft is pushed in. CONSTITUTION:In the hand 2 of the time piece made of Al or the like, the cylindrical part 1 is formed in which the rotary shaft 3 is pushed in by press machining or the like. On the inner wall of said cylindrical part 1, a plurality of convex parts 4 whose top parts 4a face upward and which yield the elastic bonding force are provided. When the shaft 3 is pushed in, a pushing part 3a is cut by the convex parts 4, and the compressive insertion of the rotary shaft is readily ensued. Thus the hand of the time piece which can be readily manufactured is obtained.
