Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily separate and feed bank notes one by one by making the friction between the notes smaller than that between a feed roller and a note. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal guide plate 18 is made of an iron sheet plated with nickel to reduce te friction on the surface and an inclined plate 17 is also made of an iron sheet and its angle of inclination theta is about 60 deg.-80 deg.. A bank note 16 is set slantwise on the horizontal guide plate 18 by means of the inclinded plate 17 and said inclined plate 17 presses the note 16 against a feed roller 19 by the tension of a spring 22. As the feed roller 19 rotates, the first note 16 is fed out by the action of the friction F working between the feed roller 19 and the note 16. At this time the note 16' remains unmoved since the friction F' between tne notes is made smaller than the friction F between the feed roller 19 and the note 16. In this way it is possible to separate and feed the bank notes one by one by making the friction between the notes smaller than that between the feed roller and a note.
