Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled molded object poor in voids, excellent in oxygen stability, electroconductivity and useful for electroconductive material etc. by a method wherein a base is made up of acetylene polymer substance, dithiazole monomer is inserted into these voids, heated and polymerized.
CONSTITUTION: A solvent such as toluence etc. and a catalytic omponent such as tetrabutoxytitanium and triethyl aluminium etc. are added to a polymerization reactor to obtain a homogeneously polymerized catalytic solution. This is cooled down to -78°C, polymerized by means of introduction of acetylene gas, and a polyacetylene film is obtained on the surface of the catalytic solution. Then, after a polyacethylene film member is dipped in a solution in which dithiazole monomer is dissolved in benzene etc. it is heated and polymerized in vacuum to obtain a desired molded object filled with a polythiazole substance in the internal voids of acetylene polymeric material constituting the base body.
