Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve recording in keeping same density, by changing the number of times of recording of one line's share of document and picture information according to the processing speed of a transmission side facsimile, in a heat sensing recording system recording decoded document and picture information per one line. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 processes data in parallel at each 8-bit and an ROM 2 stores a processing program. An RAM 3 is provided with an FIFO area storing the reception data of an MODEM 5 and sequentially picking up it and a line buffer LBF area alternately storing one line of decoded picture infomation. A heat sensing recorder 7 provides a heat sensing head having heat elements for 2048-bit's share and records one line at each 256-bit by 8-times. At the protocol before the reception, the processing speed of an pposing device is checked, and if the processing speed is slow, the number of recordings of one line's share of picture information is changed for recording according to the processing speed of the opposing device so that twice writing can be made for the picture information per each line. Thus, the state of heat storage of the recording head is kept constant for the recording with the same density.
