Abstract
PURPOSE:To control calorific value applied to a material, and to enable the kneading of every kind of materials having different viscosity extending over a wide range by mounting an inserting member which can adjust a space with a double spindle rotor with blades to one part of a chamber. CONSTITUTION:The inserting members 5, 5' are mounted to one part of a main body 21 of the chamber 2, to one end a material supply port 3 is set up and to the other end a material discharging port 4, under a condition that can move in the direction rectangular to the rotor spindles of the two spindle rotors with blades, and spaces among the rotors 1 and the inserting members 5, 5' are adjusted so as to ensure the optimum calorific value, degree of kneading, degree of dispersion of an additive material, etc. corresponding to the keading material supplied. Synthetic resin, rubber, etc. and the additive material sent into the chamber 2 from the supply port 3 are introduced to a kneading section 12 through a feeding section 11 of the rotors 1, softened and melted in proper calorific value which the additive material is dispersed, and discharged from the discharging port 4 through a discharging section 13.
