Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain superior quality of treated water by adding an oxidizer and a material dissociating to metallic ions in an aqueous soln. to the outflow slurry treated in a biological treatment process to chemically oxidize the same and treating this reacting liquid in a post treatment process including a mechanical dehydrating process.
CONSTITUTION: Org. waste liquid 1 such as night soil is treated in a biological treating process 2, and the produced outflow slurry 5 and the concd. separating water 6 from a sludge concentrating device 3 are mixed. The mixture is fed to a chemical mixing tank 7. In the tank 7, an oxidizer and a material 12 dissociating to metallic ions in an aqueous soln. are added and mixed to chemically oxidize the water, after which the sludge is dehydrated with a mechanical dehydrting machine 8, whereby dehydrated cake 9 is obtained. Dehydration separating water 10 is neutralized with an alkali agent 13, and is removed of precipitate 15 in a settling basin 11, after which it is discharged as treated water 14. Simple substance metals such as Fe, Al, Cu and the like are used for material dissociating to metallic ions and hydrogen peroxide or ozone is used for the oxidizer.
