Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a banking to be pressurized by means of vibration exerted from the uppre part so as to meet a desired gradient of a slope, by a method wherein the banking is scraped out by means of a vertical plate, and is held between the nip formed by the back surface of the vertical plate and a bottom surface of a lower pressurizing plate for the vibration.
CONSTITUTION: A slope tamping device 1 is mounted at the end of an arm of a back-hoe or machine 33, and with a hydraulic cylinder 36 actuated, a vertival plate 2 is moved in a longitudinal direction. The front of the vertical plate 2 scrapes out a banking 37 to the front to form a slope. A relating position and an angle of a lower pressurizing plate 19 to the vertical plate 2 are regulated according to a slope condition. The banking 37 is held between the nip formed by the back surface of the vertical plate 2 and the bottom surface of the lower pressurizing 19. With an eccentric vibrator 25 actuated, the lower pressurizing plate 19 is vibrated vertically to tamp the banking 37 from the upper. A solid slope is formed by repeating the above procedures.
