Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit a tight multi-layer winding and make easy manufacture of a chip inductor of winding system by a method wherein a magnetic substance contained layer is formed in the external circumference of metallic wire material and a picul dryed film is formed thereon further. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic substance contained layer 2 which is obtained by coating and drying the magnetic substance paste of kneading picul together with magnetic substance powder of temporarily baking and palverizing powder of Fe2O3 and divalent metal oxide is provided in the external circumference of metallic wire material 1 including Ag, AgPd alloy, CuAl alloy containing Al of several precent or the like, and a picul dryed film 3 is formed thereon further by covering and drying the picul. In this way, a tight multi-layer winding can be established without causing any come-out of the magnetic substance contained layer in achieving the winding and an excellent closed magnetic path structure can be obtained after the baking process without causing a short-circuit. Since the chip inductor can be produced through the winding process, and the manufacture of the inductor coil also be established easily.
