Abstract

PURPOSE:To insert a curling or floating sheet easily by inclining the end part on the insertion side of a guide plate for a sheet insertion port. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is placed on a guide plate 1 mounted to the outside part of the body of a copying machine, and is inserted into between upper, lower guide plates 2, 3, by which it is conveyed with rollers 6, 7. The plate 2 is inclined by theta in the end part 21 on the sheet insertion side with respect to the width direction B of the sheet and therefore if the sheet floated by curling or the like is inserted, the leading end of the sheet is inserted gradually from the end until it abuts to the end part on the inclined side and therefore the sheet floated by the curling is pressed and stretched, whereby it is inserted naturally.
