Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the unstability of the output thereof as well as the reduction of efficiency under a high temperature by a method wherein heat is taken out positively from the back surface of a solar cell to eliminate the too high temperature rise of the cell itself while the cell itself is arranged in vacuum. CONSTITUTION:Solar beam, permeated through a light permeating tube 1a, is projected against the solar cells 6 in a vacuum vessel 1 to transform it into electricity while the output thereof is taken out to the outside of the device through lead wires 8, 12. On the other hand, a stainless base plate 6a for the solar cell 6 is heated by rays in ultrared rays zone, which are not necessary for transforming the solar beam into electricity, and this heat is soon transferred to a heat collecting member 4 attached to the rear surface of the solar cells 6 so as to transmit the heat and thereby heating the heat collecting member 4. Accordingly, the heat receiving part of a heat collecting pipe 4a is heated and the operating fluid therein is vaporized, thereafter, the steam thereof is transferred into the outer tube 5a of a heat exchanger 5 and heat water flowing in the inner tube 5b of the same while it is condensed and liquified, then, it flows down into the heat receiving part due to the effect of gravity and is heated again by the heat of the heat collecting member 4.
