Abstract

PURPOSE:To damp oscillation more effectively by coupling an image formation member with a driving member through an oscillation damping member, and permitting the image formation member to operate as a flywheel. CONSTITUTION:Sprockets 5, stuck to a shaft 4 pivoted on frames 1-3, mesh with a chain 6 coupled with a driving source which is not shown in the figure. A pin 8 equipped with rubber-made oscillation damping members 7 at both ends pierces the shaft 4, and the oscillation damping members 7 are compressed and fitted in a groove 10 made in the side wall of a drumlike image formation member 9. This image formation member 9 has considerable weight and great inertia, so it operates as a flywheel to damp oscillation more effectively.
