Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled tube having remarkably improved abrasion resistance of the pattern printed to the surface, by printing a pattern with a curable color ink consisting of a thiol compound and a compound containing a carbon- carbon double bond.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of a tube made of a polymer composition (e.g. polyethylene) is printed with a curable color ink composed mainly of a mixture of a thiol compound and a compound containing carbon-carbon double bond, and cured with e.g. UV-irradiation. The printed pattern is coated with a transparent mixture composed of an acrylic urethane oligomer or a thiol compound and a compound having carbon-carbon double bond to ≥2μ thickness.
USE: The process can be applied to the composition containing a large amount of a flame retardant and antioxidant having high blooming tendency, and can be used in a variety of fields.
