Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition resistant to the discoloration even by the molding process at a high temperature, and giving stable and clear color, by compounding a polycarbonate resin with a pigment and tetrakis(2,4-di-t- butylphenyl)biphenylene diphosphonite. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin is compounded with 0.001- 5pts. of a pigment (especially titanium oxide) and 0.001-2pt. of tetrakis(2,4-di-t- butylphenyl)biphenylene diphosphonite. The composition can be molded at a high temperature to a thin-walled article, and a large amount of pigment can be added to the composition to compensate the loss of the opacifying power and the change in color caused by the thinning of the wall thickness of the molded article.
