Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operative efficiency for arranging a wind shield glass by a method in which a wind shield glass is fixed to the front edge of an over head guard rail through hooks, and the lower part of said shield glass is fastened onto front pillars by way of brackets. CONSTITUTION:Hinges 10 are respectively fixed to the upper parts on both sides right and left of the rear face of the window frame 2 of a wind shield glass 1, and hooks 11 with inverted L shape, are fastened onto these hinges. Then, when the wind shield glass is assembled, the front rails 12 on an over head guard are inserted into the hooks 11 by way of elastic materials 13, thereby holding the wind shield glass in suspension. Further, the lower part of the wind shield glass 1 is connected to front pillars 5 by the brackets 15 fastened onto connecting plates 3 arranged on both sides of the window frame 2 by bolts 14. Consequently, the wind shield glass is easily assembled by one man, and also, the fastening-method on both sides by a pair of bolts 14 are sufficient for the wind shield glass-assembly, so the number of parts are reduced.
