Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the operational property at the time of remote operation and the inspecting functions of objectives, and to enlarge the monitoring visual field, by installing a mirror under a rotation-free condition at a location where the TV camera can pickup reflected images and by rotating the mirror and the TV camera in one body with a rotating device. CONSTITUTION:A TV camera 8 is mounted on a running device 1 and a spherical mirror 12 is installed at a location where the camera 8 can pickup reflected images, and then, the mirror 12 and the camera 8 are rotated in one body with a rotating device. This rotating device is rotated in the vertical direction by a pitching mechanism 6 on the running device 1, and the mechanism 6 is rotated in the horizontal direction by the yawing mechanism 5. Then, the mirror 12 and the camera 8 of the remotely operated running device are rotated in one body by the rotating device, and the operational property at the time of remote operation and the inspecting function of objectives are improved, and thus, the monitoring visual field is enlarge.
