Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and economical controller which gives the rotary symmetrical control to the distribution of light volume, by shifting two elements having the distribution of absorption in the prescribed axial direction vertical and backward to the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:The thickness d1 of an absorbing member 1 having the absorbing coefficient alpha is set to satisfy d1=A(yz<2>+y<3>/3)+B+C (A, B, C: constants), and a transparent member 2 having the absorbing coefficiency substantially equal to alpha and the same thickness as d1 is formed on the member 1. Thus a pair of elements 3 and 4 are obtained. These elements 3 and 4 are set opposite to each other and then shifted vertically and backward to an optical axis 5. As a result, a controller which controls the distribution of light volume in a rotary symmetric way can be obtained easily with a low cost.
