Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily produce a thin and inexpensive composite Fresnel condenser which is formed on a single surface from plural Fresnel surfaces, by decreasing the focal distance as the zone surface goes farther away from the optical axis and therefore obtaining a uniform distribution of the condensing density. CONSTITUTION:The focal distance is decreased as the zone surface goes farther away from the optical axis for a composite Fresnel condenser which is formed on a single surface from plural Fresnel surfaces. As a result, the distribution of the condensing density becomes uniform on the light receiving surface KK. In such way, a thin and inexpensive composite Fresnel condenser is obtained in a simple way of production.
