Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent mechanical damage, by reducing mechanical friction between a recording tape and a transcription member, through the movement of a magnetooptic transcription member which reads a magnetic pattern in the running speed of a recording medium recorded with a magnetic pattern. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic transcription film is formed on a magnetic pattern transcription cylinder 11 and supported rotatably. A recording tape 3 runs between a cylinder 5 and a transcription cylinder 11 while putting closely together to the both. As mentioned above, the cylinder 11 is abutted to the cylinder 5 via the recording tape 3, and the cylinder 11 is turned conforming with the run of the tape 3 so that the transcription member on the cylinder 11 is moved. Thus, the mechanical friction between the recording tape and the transcription member is decreased and damages due to mechanical friction are avoided.
