Abstract
PURPOSE:To have an air-to-fuel control for the optimum value for the temperature by controlling the upper limitation on the fuel reduction side of the feedback correction amount of the air/fuel ratio linked with the height of engine temperature in compliance with the output of a thermosensor to sense the engine temperature. CONSTITUTION:Between the inverted input and output terminals of an integrating device 18, which is to give an output of the amount of feedback correction, a circuit composed of a feedback resistance 26, transistor 28, diode 30, connected in series, is interposed and connected to a water temperature sensing circuit 38 through a resistor 36. When the sensed value by this water temperature sensing circuit 38 is low, i.e. when the engine temp. is low, the upper limitation, on the fuel reduction side, of the feedback correction amount of the air-to-fuel ratio shall be controlled into a value smaller than the one at the time of higher engine temperature. Thereby, the amount of feedback for air/fuel ratio is modified with the engine temperature, so that an overcontrol on the lean side at the time of low temperature can be prevented and good operating characteristic can held at all times.
